Aluminum Can Be The Fencing Material Of Choice

There are so many different fencing materials on the market these days that sometimes it can seem almost possible to make a decision. Many people, believing that they have to have a natural look to the garden, will often choose a wood paneled fence or something similar. However there are now so many different designs available in aluminum fencing that is possible to get decorative aluminum fencing that can really add to the design of any garden, even if the garden is almost totally natural otherwise.

The first thing about aluminum fencing that can be a really attractive element is the fact that it is structurally strong, and can be a durable alternative to many of the different types of fencing material. If you want a strong perimeter fence, aluminum can be a great choice, because not only will it give you great security, but if you add a decorative element it will give you something that can add the to the design of your garden, whilst aluminum itself is also highly durable and can offer an almost maintenance-free fencing option.

You will need to paint the fence every few years, but this is a fairly minor job in comparison to having to paint a creosote or wood fence for instance, which may need to be done every single year and be a large drain on your time. A wood fence may rot as soon as you stop the maintenance, but an aluminum fence can actually be a corrosion-free fence as long as you simply do a bit of maintenance every few years.

Wood fencing style

So now that you can see aluminum is a structurally sound fence, we can take a look at some of the decorative elements that are available. If you choose aluminum panels, the panels themselves can have a decorative design on them, which means you not only get privacy with your aluminum fence but also get a nice bit of decoration as well. Some of these designs can be in the traditional wood fence style, while others may have a more modern feel. But one of the most common types is the aluminum bar fence, which essentially can look like a wooden picket fence, except that you do not have the maintenance hassles of wood.

A popular choice can be Crescent Moon fencing, including 2" x 2" posts" x 2" stock, with 1" x1" pickets with 1"x2" top and bottom horizontals. This provides an excellent ornamental fence and retails at about $85.00 per foot. The ornamental arched fence gate from Steel Fencing Pro can be a good choice, offering an aluminum fence with black e-coat and powder coat. It is a 6 foot aluminum fence, with 44" panels and 1/2" pickets. For aluminum privacy fencing, take a look at a fence with sunburst accent style. This is a 6 foot high fence in 8 foot wide panels. This kit also includes middle and bottom decorative rails.

Durability and strength

When you add some decorative elements such as aluminum fencing finials to the gate posts you really can end up with a fence that looks absolutely brilliant, while also giving you a durability and strength. The fence posts can also be aluminum, but many people do like to go for a steel fence post or a concrete fence post, which, like the aluminum fencing itself, can be painted in almost any color you like. A white aluminum fence is one of the most popular options, though you can go for more vibrant options such as, blue, or even pink. You do need to make sure that the fence you fir is galvanized aluminum, which will cut down on maintenance, but can also be painted very easily.

In terms of size, a decorative aluminum fence can range from the smallest size, such as a 3 foot high, right up to the ultra-secure six-foot high fence, which will make it almost impossible for an intruder to gain entry. If you do decide to install such a high fence, you may want to think about using vegetation to cover some of the fence, since even a decorative fence of this size may seem a little overbearing for some situations.

I use aluminum fencing all the time because it is so easy to maintain. I put it out the front and now I'm doing the same at the rear. It really is a great decorative fencing type.

I installed an aluminum fence in my backyard a few months ago, and I am now looking at putting one in my front garden as well because I think it is a really great material. The best thing about it is this is very easy to maintain.

I am just about to replace the fence and my neighbor has told me that I should take a look at aluminum fencing because it is very cheap and also very easy to maintain. I think he has got a point, and I have changed my mind from installing a wooden fence to go with aluminum.

Designing an instructional program for beginners in fencing has traditionally been based on progression through the simple attacks.
